PROGRESSIVE SERIES

Cycling Specific 8 Week Series Purchase required to enroll

This 8-week progressive program is designed to assist the serious or recreational cycling athlete in the acquisition of efficient movement patterns and positions specific to cycling. We will explore healthy pelvis/spine position, efficient use of fascial/muscular systems, and weight-bearing position of the upper extremities to increase power output through the lower extremities. The class will also address alignment of the lower extremities and symmetry to prevent injury and encourage healthy repetitive joint motion. The class will meet 8 consecutive weeks for 1 hour and 30 minutes of progressive training beginning on the reformer/tower systems to create efficiency and ending in the functional training room for power and endurance. We will use an array of equipment and training theories during the program that include the reformer/tower systems, Core Align, Oov, TRX, Reebok Steppers, breath work, cardio prescriptions, power training, mind/body, etc.

Next series starts: Tuesday March 26 @ 5:15 PM and Wednesday March 27 at 6:30 PM. Reserve your spot for $400. Only 8 spots in each series.

Pinnacle Ski Specific 12 Week Series 2023

This 12-week progressive program is designed to assist the serious or recreational skiing athlete in the acquisition of efficient movement patterns and positions specific to skiing. We will explore healthy pelvis/spine position, efficient use of fascial/muscular systems, and train the mechanics of skiing to increase efficiency and technique. The class will also address alignment of the lower extremities and symmetry to prevent injury and encourage healthy repetitive joint motion. The class will meet 12 consecutive weeks for 1 hour and 45 minutes of progressive training beginning on the reformer/tower systems to create efficiency and ending in the functional training room for power and endurance. You will receive home exercise programs progressively to supplement the group sessions with a final home program to utilize during the ski season for recovery and recuperation. We will use an array of equipment and training theories during the program that include the reformer/tower systems, Core Align, Oov, TRX, Reebok Steppers, breath work, cardio prescriptions, power training, mind/body, etc.

Snowbird Ski specific 8 Week Series 2023

This 8 week progressive ski program is for Snowbird employees only.

Running Specific 12 Week Series

This 12 week series is for individuals who need or desire to obtain effective biomechanical and neuromuscular movement patterns necessary for efficient running. This progressive periodized program will utilize the reformer/tower systems to develop balance between mobility, stability and flexibility necessary throughout the system to sustain the repetitive motion and loads required by running. Dynamic skills acquisition tasks will be incorporated to improve balance, endurance, and efficiency. If you are wanting to improve your performance and reduce the chance of injury, or just wish to find the ZEN in your stride, this series is for you!

Better Bones 3 Session Series

This 3-Session Better Bones Progressive Program at Pinnacle Performance is specifically designed for clients with osteopenia or osteoporosis. While all Intelligent Movement classes at Pinnacle Performance focus on alignment, strength, balance, and function, this class will introduce high intensity resistance and safe impact training exercises that are specific to improving bone health. The class will meet and progress over a course of 3 months, providing you with personal feedback and individual home exercise programs. Participation tracking logs will help maintain motivation and ensure safe progression each month. The first month will focus on the proper alignment, modifications, and preparation needed to progress your exercise intensity throughout each month. All the information provided in the creation of this course is based upon the current relevant research regarding bone health and the ability to build strength and integrity of bone over time with progressive loading in a particular manner. This progressive series will help build bone health, strength, balance and confidence allowing you to fully participate in life with less worry about your osteopenia or osteoporosis diagnosis. This course will be held periodically throughout each year.

The diagnosis of Osteoporosis and Osteopenia is on the rise, and rampant, particularly in women at a younger age than ever.

Why is this happening? What can you do about it? How do you build bone and remain safe while doing it? How does it make you feel? What information do you believe? How do you safely exercise? And how do you continue to thrive as you age with this diagnosis?

The entire Pinnacle Performance team will be available to provide the latest research and information on bone health, exercise safety, familial history, and integrative medicine options to assist in building bone, slowing the process, and supporting your immune system while continuing to enjoy your life!

We will also be providing a 90 min lab experience educating you with modifications that you can make that will keep your bones safe while exercising.
